St Helens will be making a big splash in Church Square with a maritime themed 3-D pavement art project from Wednesday 31st August – Monday 12th September 2011 as part of a celebration of the forthcoming “On the Waterfront “event at the Pier Head and historic Docks in Liverpool (8th-15th September).
St Helens Council have commissioned leading street artists Urban Canvas and (Guinness Book of Records holders) Planet Street Painting to produce Summer Splash; a huge piece of maritime themed 3-D pavement art in the heart of the town centre.
