Philip Battle

Philip has worked in all aspects of art and design.

He is a qualified (City & Guilds Advanced) sign-writer & heraldic designer, and has taught illustration at Liverpool University.

He has worked in adult education teaching life drawing, landscape painting and ran residential art development courses in the English Peak District.

Philip is also a writer, and has written LADY SCREEVER; a biography of the world’s first lady pavement artist Alice Colman, and is currently working on three other art history books.
